Kari Koski has been a marine steward of the Salish Sea for 30 over years. Kari has educated boaters on responsible wildlife viewing, counted boaters around whales and within marine reserves and now she counts abandoned boats as the coordinator of San Juan County’s Derelict Vessel Program. You might have bumped into Kari teaching a marine science class, a foraging workshop, talking with you about seasonal elixirs, or maybe serving you a libation at a community event. Kari enjoys swimming and gunkholing with her dog, George, and  partner, Doug, on their boat Scrumpy.
