Thomas William Jones’ watercolors have been influenced by the rural spaces of his native Ohio and the vastness of the Pacific Northwest. Painting since childhood, his work of varied subject matter is renowned for refinement of texture and delicacy of brushwork. Many local collections include the Washington Governor’s Mansion, PACCAR and Eddie Bauer. Nationally, his art is included in the White House historical collection. President and Mrs. Reagan selected Jones to paint their 1985-88 White House Christmas cards. Recently, he was honored by the Reagan Library Museum with an exhibition titled “An American Winter.” Jones and his wife, Carrie, reside in Snohomish.
